In certain parallel universes Lauren is reptilian instead of mammalian. In some such universes she is an iguana or in cases where the time period is set earlier, a triceratops. The gender of the triceratops tends to fluctuate, being male in some realities and female in others.

In some universes Lauren exists in the form of a rather distinctive pair of sneakers.
