Vesh used to be an ordinary soldier in an army he has since forgotten. None of it matters since he died horribly on the battlefield, chest ripped open and ribcage pulled from his torso. As he lay on the field, drowning in his own blood, he gasped out a plea for any who would listen, and before him, a skeletal figure in black robes appeared before his dying body with an extended hand and an offer for a second chance.

Vesh took the chance at once, and found himself alive and whole with newfound magic powers. He now wanders the land, serving the Reaper to hunt down undead and those who attempt to cheat Death.
