This is my second try to paint on dry leaves, but it is the first where I like the outcome of the painting. :)
I dried the oak leaves by myself and prepared them with varnish.
The painting is done with gouache and then sealed.
The frame is real bronze and I founf the color matched very well.
A5 sized. :)

I painted some fishbones ones and I tried to paint a feather as well, but this didnt work so good. I want to paint some bones again in the future. To paint the leafes is so difficult because I cant make a sketch on them. ^^"
I have to find a solution for this problem.

Painted on leaves? I like unusual stuff as a subsitute for paper. Nice idea. To bad, that there are not much things that provide enough space. Somewhere i saw painted bones and feathers too.
