So I've been sitting on this little doodle for a while, debating on whether or not I wanted to upload it. There's a few technical problems with it, but I really like having the full design of his outfit represented. A bit of simplification on the sugar skull makeup, because I'm a lazy git.

So hard throughout this doodle process to not have "Friends on the Other Side" playing. Damn you Disney. Why must you give the villains all the best songs?!

"Shake my hand.
Come on kiddo.
Won't you shake a poor sinner's hand?"

For the record, my favorite aspect about damn-near all Disney films that have ever been made are the villain's songs. Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame, Be Prepared from Lion King, Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid, Gaston from Beauty & the Beast, Oogie-boogie Man from Nightmare Before Christmas, Mother Knows Best from Rapunzel... my LORD, I can probably go on and on... but yeah. You get the gist of it. ;) Friends on the Other Side is an amazing song though, too. I love the idea of watching the scene in 3-D. Bring out those blacklights!!!

I think I'd be right at home in a Dia De Los Muertos party. >;3 This bone-daddy fella you have drawn is nothing short of astonishingly groovy. 8D Reminds me of Beetlejuice, with those striped pants. Its always a thrill to see your artistic exploits into these sort of Mexican-afterlife concepts... definitely a charming skelly-man! heeheehee! X)

I'd gladly shake his hand - from one poor sinner to another, eh?

Oh my stars right?!?!?! The villains always get the best music. I mean, there's other songs sure, that are good. But... Man Hellfire. Hell frickin fire. No other song in that movie made tingles go up and down my spine like that. The visuals, and the music... and just... unffff. So good. And Be Prepared, Poor Unfortunate Souls, Oogie's Song, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, OH MAN GASTON!!!! My childhood!!!! And oh my goodness that black light effect in the animation. Oh man.... That makeup... Unffffff!

I really like Dia de los Muertos as a holiday. I mean, sure, there's Halloween, but I like the roots of DdlM, because it's more of a celebration of life and death and family, rather than a ploy to sell tons of candy and costumes. I'd love to attend a party for DdlM :p And you're right! Those striped pants are totally Beetlejuice-esque XD! I might just have to do more of these DdlM pieces throughout the year. Because I mean, I could wait until the beginning of November... But what fun is that? And I think Sans here would fit right in with a party :p

And I'd shake his hand, whoopie cushion and all. I know he's got one, the sneaky little bonehead XD
