Hehe, I thought you already had an answer for that question, because of what you wrote in the profile. But, fair enough, it's a tough question. What makes me tick?

It's difficult to answer, but I think imaginary worlds are great part of what makes me tick. I like to read about imaginary worlds of other people, but I also can't help myself and start creating universes of my own. I imagine nations, plains, mountains, and cities, and peoples with problems not unlike my own. While I wait for the flow of traffic to stop so I can cross a street, I let the noise of the engines blend with my own humming, and I think of all the songs these fictional creatures could compose in languages unknown even to myself.

Sometimes, when the sky is clear and the sun is setting, I can see its golden light pouring in the metal and glass of the tall buildings against the deep blue firmament. At that moment, I like to imagine how beautiful must be the landscapes of distant planets, of parallel universes...
