Summary of my 2015: Went from working my regular laboratory job in Singapore to preparing to start my Masters degree here in the US.
That's basically it.

I've been working for quite a few years now since completing my undergrad degree. It's been enough to get to know the industry at home, experience the working world and have my feel comfortable that this industry is something I would like to stay in. I wouldn't go for Masters if I felt I didn't have to, but it's just reached that point where I feel that's what I need to do to keep progressing in my field of work.

So what that means for me: I'll get to spend a few years in Washington.
While the financial budget probably cuts me off from any conventions outside the US, suddenly a lot of the US ones (mainly West coast) & many event are viable for me to make it to.

The weekend portions of FC are the first ones I'll make it to, barring any unexpected things that might happen as it's the first week of school.
BLFC & Anthrocon are on my list too as they fall during the summer vacation period.

Both career-wise & fandom-wise, time to make good use of the year ahead!
