Art Block or Lazy? by Karla-Chan
I am not sure if I am having an art block at the moment or not. It is a bit weird because I am also feeling a lack of motivation as well.
Like I have finally got round to inking something I did about a week ago or something. However it is the 18th and I have not finished anything this month. Which is really out of character for me. I feel bad because I have Patreon and I really need to make sure there is content. So I am forcing myself to make the art I am about to finish. However it is never normally forced.
I normally feel so good while making and producing art. I normally go a bit mad if I can't make art.
So I am not sure what is actually going on with me at the moment. I am not sure if the fact my sleep is worse is having an effects either. I just don't know.

I hope so, it is just something I have not experienced before. I know I feel frustrated with my work before I improve and get not happy with it. However I haven't even created anything.

Everybody has slumps. Usually they are a prelude to some kind of change for the better, I find .... like the mind needs to be left alone for a bit to work something out. You'll snap back -- the Ideas will eventually not let you rest: curse and blessing of being a "maker" (as Dorothy Sayers calls artists in her book "Mind of the Maker").
