Okay, so, it’s been a bit! Trying to get things in order, but this month was a bit of a pain. Anyway, good news is, I’ll be taking on more commissions! Bad news is it’s only up till the 23rd, then I’m off till 2016 because fuck trying to coordinate commission streams and the random Christmas/New Year’s things I’ll attend. So, that said! Here’s some Slavestream information, opening pretty much immediately. In-stream commissions and information on that will follow later.

SLAVESTREAM INFO

Okay, so slavestreams have been changed a bit! I’m utilizing a site called youcanbook.me to handle the booking process. This allows you all to grab specific slots of time when I’m available for streaming on a weekly basis, rather than just buying a certain amount of hours and me attempting to organize everyone’s availability. This also enables you guys to book times in advance of just the current week. I’ll adjust the process after testing it some, if it needs adjusting to make things smoother for everyone. Stream time is still the same for now, 7PM - 1AM EST, Monday-Thursday (if you need help with time zones, this should work! http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html ). The price has been upped (as have all my other prices; more information further on/in the Terms of Service) to $40 per hour! I’m also allowing paintings to be done in streams as well - obviously, they can take a while, so keep that in mind when deciding you want one in the slavestream! You can continue the painting in another stream/commission me normally to finish it later if need be. If you are planning on getting one, don’t get it as a sketch first!

SO! How do you book on this “youcanbook.me” site? Here’s a quick guide to how this whole thing works. First head to https://nommz.youcanbook.me/ ! Once there you should see a table with days and time periods. From there, select the time that works best for you! For now, only the 21st to the 23rd is available - I’m doing a quick trial run to test this out! Click a time block that works for you. You’ll be taken to a page with a bunch of text fields. Just fill out the relevant information there, select the amount of hours you’d like to book, and hit confirm. It SHOULD send an email to both of us with the time you’ve selected! From there, reply to that email as soon as you can with the details of what you want in your stream, along with references, and we’ll discuss any other important information. Make sure not to miss your stream!

OTHER UPDATES

Alright, other than that I’ve updated my Terms of Service! Prices have changed, along with a couple other bits of information.

First and foremost, my new prices are as follows (all in USD, of course):

Sketches - $28
Flats - $48
Shaded - $80
Speedpaint - $100
Detailed Painting - $120
Slavestream (per hour) - $40

Of note should be the addition of speedpaints! The ‘rules’ for a speedpaint are a little bit different than before. For those who missed the previous journals, a speedpaint is more or less what it sounds like - a painting on a smaller canvas with less time and effort put into it; usually just taking 2-3 hours. It is limited to up to 2 major characters and includes a vague simple background if desired (including perspective shots and random micros). No inserts or complex backgrounds allowed. Detailed Paintings are much like the original “paintings” category, with no limitations and a much larger canvas to fit a higher level of detail.

Other relevant price updates:
Detailed Paintings now include up to 2 characters like all the other types.
Additional characters past the 2nd that only appear in an insert cost ¼ base price, not ½.
There’s now an option for busts (roughly chest-up), which are half the base price of whatever type of piece you want it to be. These are ideal for icons or mawshots or what have you.

NOW, that aside, I’m working on writing up some information about in-stream commissions. The gist of it is the same as before: there’ll be a form that you can fill out for the sake of me having the commission info, but you don’t need to fill it out prior to the stream. I’ll work on in-stream commissions whenever I’m not doing a slavestream, and I’ll do a raffle-thingie in-stream to determine whose commission I work on then. NOW since not everyone can attend streams, I’m thinking of trying a “guaranteed” option where I grab the first 5 designated as “guaranteed” commissions and during weekend streams (if they happen) or if no one participates in a raffle, I’ll work on those in order. The catch is you have to pay immediately. Folks who get “guaranteed” slots can still participate in the raffle. I’ll go down the queue, refilling with the next ‘guaranteed’ slot as they empty, communicating with folks, etc. I’m working on writing up a more detailed guide about it later when I open for them.
