After the shitstorm that happened as a result of Amazon using that damnable courier service that didn't take their job seriously, I have some good news for a change. For one thing, Amazon was gracious enough to refund me the full amount of money I paid for the late item, and I don't have to return it because it was guaranteed to arrive by 9 PM last night and didn't arrive on time. So that's the first bit of good news that I have to post here.

The second bit is a lot more important to me. I had to recently get rid of my old comforter, which my friend Leshpar gave me four years ago, due to the bed bug infestation. Earlier this month, however, I ordered a thick blanket to replace it. That blanket arrived via UPS today.

The blanket is reversible, and each side has a dragon on it. One side has a silvery-colored Western Dragon destroying a castle, and the other side has a fiery red Eastern Dragon. I have placed the new blanket on my bed, with the Eastern Dragon side facing up. I am elated, as this blanket wasn't due to arrive until December 4th, almost a month from now. Prior to getting this and after getting rid of the old comforter, I had resorted to using a bathrobe and a bath towel as my "blanket" every night. I am quite happy to have gotten this new blanket when I did.

The bed bug treatment will be on Monday. Their activity seems to have died down a lot since last week, and I haven't received any new bites on my body in several days. Still, it will be nice to have some professionals coming in and taking out whatever bed bugs they can take out.
