In light of a Tumblr post a close friend of mine found, I feel it best to inform everyone that I will need to start managing how to receive payment for people interested in paying me to make music for them.

Beforehand, it was as simple as giving my PayPal email address to commissioners, but now, I'm growing reluctant to do that in the event that they give the money to me as a family or friend, and not for services, which is technically what these commissions are. The reason for this reluctance is because any violations of what kind of payment it is will be fined to the one being paid!

Therefore, it's either spelling out to commissioners to send payment as goods or services, or to force them by managing invoices, a process that, unfornately, requires I learn their email address as well.
