I hope everyone had a safe and festive time celebrating Halloween yesterday. :)

Initially, I wasn't sure if there was enough time for me to celebrate it because I promised one of my work supervisors that I would help out with a shift yesterday (there weren't enough employees willing to help out during the day or at night, though attendance was fortunately pretty low for the day). But she and I worked things out so that I would work only during the afternoon shift (she even gave me time-and-a-half for working so hard all of last week), so this gave me a perfect opportunity to celebrate Halloween in some way.

After working the shift, I came home and got into my fursuit so that I could surprise some of the trick-or-treaters who came by to collect candy at the door. In addition to surprising them in suit, after they would say "Trick or treat!" I would respond with "Don't you mean 'Trick or Blleeaaattt!'?" =P

The reactions from the trick-or-treaters were a bit mixed; one little boy cried out in amazement, "Whoa, what the heck is that?" while a group of four older boys laughed and called me Rudolph (they even sang the Rudolph song after they left). The important thing, though, is that I had fun being in suit for Halloween and got to see people smile. :)
