So in a stream I was in with Gonechoo, we felt that one thing that could help Weasyl take off is the relatively-innovative idea of the community actively promoting each other. I decided to take this initiative, and I hope others will follow suit. Expect me to release these kinds of journals on a bi-weekly basis if this takes off.

The first artist I wish to look into is Blekarotva: blekarotva

While I admittedly first heard of this artist through FA ads, back when I was a member of that site, all the same, she appears to be fairly active here as well. It's clear when you first browse her page that she's specialized with reptilian characters, though she is easily capable of other anthropomorphic characters as well.

Overall, I find her work amazing. While there is often a blurriness that contrasts with the typical high-quality art on these sites, the coloring and shading makes it more than worth it for everyone.
