Kim Davis Is Not A Christian by ACDragon

I hate to be the one to burst you Religious Right Fanatics' delusional bubble, but Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis is Not A Christian.

When she refuses to obey the law of the land, and refuses to obey her employer, she is rebelling against the god whose authority she claims to be using to justify breaking Federal Law. Christians are required, by their god, to obey earthly authority figures, and to treat them like god's appointed people on this earth at this time. Kim Davis, when you refuse to obey the law and refuse to grant a marriage license to gay couples, you are disobeying your own god. As a result, you have no right to call yourself a Christian, no matter what you church taught you. As your own bible tells you:

I Peter 2:13-20:

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

And in Romans 13:1-7:

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Both passages are from the King James Version, since so many Right Wingers insist that it's the only right bible version to use.

Your god COMMANDS you to obey earthly authorities. In fact, Kim Davis's refusal to do so, according to Romans 13:2 above, guarantees damnation to those who refuse to obey the law of the land. If you claim to love your god but you refuse to obey the law of the land, you are not a Christian and you have no place waiting for you in your god's kingdom.

It should also be pointed out that according to the above passages, Kim Davis is NOT being persecuted for her faith. According to the bible that she claims to love sooo much, her God is punishing her for her own anti-Christian rebellion.

So Kim Davis, for the sake of whatever you think is holy, either quit your job, do your job right, or stop calling yourself a Christian, because according to your own god, your refusal to give marriage licenses to gay couples is rebellious and wrong.

I was most surprised by it, when deciding that led to getting actual worshipers. Ovo

I love them. They make me feel so... powerful.

Heh, the only difference between you and me is that I don't like being worshiped. I don't mind being admired for things I've done, but not worshiped. For me, worshipers are like the Adoring Fan from Oblivion, whose name really should be the Annoying Fan, because it's a more accurate name for him, lol.

No, thankfully they're not like that. I don't think I could stand that. They're like good friends. Real good, very trustworthy friends.

Coolies. I'm glad they make you happy.
