Heyo! I'm looking to do some kind of convention like thing where I'm selling physical goods at a table and such and needed some help in locating supplies and such! I am a newb and don't know what I'm doing.
Since its not quite a convention, per se, I don't expect to sell a whole lot, so I'm only going to be doing prints and buttons. That said, I'm looking for a couple things:
A display on which to put prints. I see them all over conventions, and since me and a friend are sharing a table, we want to maximize the space we have. I was imagining those rack-type things people put prints up on... dunno at all where to get those.
A button maker. Buttons are HELLA easy to sell, and I wanna make some! Thing is, I've no idea what button makers are good/bad. Any suggestions or reviews of button makers would be rad, because I don't know a thing about them. The ones I see on Amazon are fairly expensive, so I don't want to make that commitment until I'm sure of the product!
So yeah! That, and any other suggestions folks have for selling at conventions would be rad! Any help is much appreciated :3

Hey! If you would maybe like any suggestions on setting up and doing business n such, I may be able to give a bit of advice. I haven't had a table at a convention or even for any of my art or crafts (yet), but I've gone through years of setting up and doing business at tables at various craft fairs with other products or even other people's crafts, as well as experience with the whole set up/tear down of entire fairs and festivals.
Also, as for button makers, pretty much any good quality press alone is going to run you about $100-$150 unless you find someone who just wants to get rid of theirs. I've had one for years, from American Button Machines I believe... my set is currently in a closet and I'd have to dig it out to be certain, but I'm 99.99% sure XP It's very nice and very easy to use (I've handled others that were difficult to press or would get jammed), but again, is definitely an investment.
