This is technically based on what's happened today (tonight?) where I was due to be preparing to view the next episode of MLP, of course I thought I'd check my pages first and the first journal that came up spoilt it for me.. mostly.

If you've not seen it, and do not wish to have it spoilt, then have no fear, I will endevour to reveal nothing.

The fact is, shows going out in different timezones, at different times anyway will mean you have to be prepared to avert your gaze when someone mentions said show. Any show with a following (MLP, Dr Who to name my personal faves), will generate a HUGE buzz with every episode.

The problem comes when you suddenly know the outcome of the next episode. It could be a special, or just another episode to walk the season/series along, but suddenly you're given the one vital piece of information that most people would only watch said episode to gain... or something like that. >.<
How do you deal with that? What do you do next?

Well, I've just had the next MLP episode spoilt for me, not particularly pleased about that, but then I'm intrigued. Fair-do's, I know the outcome but you can't help wanting to peek inside the box that turns water into coffee can you? The outcome is great, however it's the journey to said outcome that will grant one the greatest pleasure out of a series. Simply, if you've had an episode spoilt, just watch it anyway. Nine times out of ten you'll enjoy it a lot more than you thought you would. It's really no good just getting bent out of shape over it, since in times like this when everyone is so connected, secrets and spoilers are going to come out prematurely.

This isn't so much advice, at least I wouldn't sell it as such, just my musings. Interpret at your whim and feel free to muse with me. Just the number of people and/or groups suddenly getting so bent out of shape because of things like this kinda puts me off going through my inbox sometimes. xD
