Greetings all,

Just recently I got back from Rainfurrest and have been catching up on work and usual life things. Being my first traveling con, I'd definitely like to share my experience with all of you! Business first though - by now I should have emailed everyone who ordered a commission at RF (making sure I have all the correct email addresses and confirming any reference that was sent). If you haven't received an email yet, feel free to bug me and make sure we're able to contact each other. I'm also catching up on any commissions/shipping which was left unfinished before the con, you guys are first priority since you ordered before RF.

Onto convention happenings! As previously mentioned, this was my first time not only doing a traveling convention, but first time out of my home state. I roomed with some of my Colorado buddies, Vantid, Xyk, and my best buddy Katie (wolf-nymph). I'm so fortunate to have had you guys by my side on this adventure, thank you so much for being there! <3

It was nice actually having a room near con happenings. During Colorado cons, I'm usually coming from home, which is about 45 mins - 1 hour drive back and fourth, so that doesn't leave any time to socialize. In this case I actually had a chance to socialize with old friends, and even meet some artists which I've known about online for years, but just met at this con. We got to go to the dance one night, and another night I met up with a friend that lives nearby, (someone I know from outside of the furry community). The food was great too, which is an expense I normally don't allow myself. Next time I'll definitely be planning for an extra day or two just to relax and explore!

Thank you to everyone who came by to chat, support my work, or even just to see my critters up close and personal. Having the chance to travel has always been a hope and dream of mine, those who have supported my work over the years helped me get there, love you guys! Definitely I'll aim to get into RF for next year. Not sure how they'll be jurying the show, so it may be hit or miss. I'm keeping at least one traveling con on the roster each year from here on, so keep your eyes open!

One last note, those who have been watching my work for a while now I'm sure have caught on to a certain obsession with clouds. I have to say, physically being among the clouds brought happy tears each flight. <3 Seems like most people hate flying, (which I can understand, being crammed into a tight space, going that high up, etc.), but it was a joy the first time around for me! Has anyone else experienced this on their first flight?
