So, much has went on in the passed 2 weeks. I have come out of my summer time melancholy, but lack a clear focus. I have a hundred things I want to make and do (artistically). Then I have the things I NEED to do (standing commissions). I am trying not to get overwhelmed by my thoughts.

Pony Butt
So, I went into the studio yesterday to paint (I am on a deadline for one commission), to start to catch up on my back log. I however, did not paint. I got distracted with the thoughts of hanging with my Herd at MFM. I found my self tearing through my scrap fur boxes, pulling out my sewing machine, and made this:

I had not made my self a tail in several years, and it must have been time. This is a basic equine tail, and is my first attempt at this type of tail. The process showed me what I need to do to the next one to make it look “better”. The colors are pretty close to my natural hair color (a little on the bright side though). I was trying for a stripe of platinum down the sides (as can be seen at the top), and I should have used a different color fur for the base. Again, it was an experiment. I like the end result though.

Looks good! I definitely like this type of tail design better than trying to use faux fur or felt or some other fabric.
The Procrasti Nation has very open borders and is always accepting new comers. They're so inviting it is often hard to leave. I have a second home there. It's nice. It's on a mental beach... you know, this comment has really gotten away from me.
Nice tail!
