I got a little bit of work done on "The Linen Butterfly."
I really wanted to get it finished ages ago. My biggest fear now is that it will be a disappointment compared to "The Vimana Incident" because it's an older story. It was basically a warm-up to "Vimana." How could it possibly compare in any way?
I'm going to need real constructive criticism on this one to make it worthwhile. I'm going on a few things that were suggested to me and I've made some major changes to the story from my first draft, but I suspect that as a whole, it will still fall painfully short of what I did with my last book no matter what I do.
Still, I need to complete this cycle. I need it out of my hair so I can clear my head and work on other things. I owe it to everyone I told I would finish this book, I owe it to Kobi for the massive effort he put into the cover art, I owe it to Ajax for being real with me about how much work my first draft needed, and I owe it to Fuzzwolf and Teiran for paying Kobi for my cover art.
I really hope I can make this worthwhile for everyone.
