In brief good news, through some aches and pains in getting it here, I still got a high capacity battery for my camera.

However, just as that arrived, the battery power cable for my professional recorder, which recorded the big promo for BronyCAN, broke and started shorting out my brand new battery. (there is short protection on the batteries though)

Now I can't use that recorder in the field anymore without fixing that cable. More worrying is that it was trying to short out equipment, which is definitely not what you want.

It's now also been just over 3 days with no progress with my suit according to my suit maker's Trello. It is now under 9 days to the deadline listed. Each day counts that much more the closer to the deadline it gets. 10 days after receiving the head, no progress on it, but the footpaw soles are close to being done.

Plus, I'm still at high risk for jinxing my RF chances by accidentally pissing people off. And I never got a chance to fix anything this past week, every opportunity not working out.

I sleep away the daytime just to make time pass faster. It's all I can really do.

Edit: Just got back in contact and the Trello updated. Latest progress is the soles are complete, with shaping the foam for the feet to go. Patterning the fur then assembly are to go. For the head, the materials to create new eyes has been purchased. No work has started on the head though.
