Console gaming by Iridium

I am beginning to ponder my next gaming console purchase/upgrade. I am relatively sure that I will be getting an Xbox One, eventually. I happened to be in a Best Buy this weekend and I see that Xbox Ones are still selling for around $400 or so. Is that a good price? What sort of accessories should I get? Do the 360 controllers work with the One? Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

No, I am not getting a PS4, sorry.

"The Xbox 360 controllers are not compatible with Xbox One, and Xbox One accessories are not compatible with Xbox 360."
"Currently, games that work with Xbox 360 won't work with Xbox One (and vice versa). For more information, see Play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One"

That's the official answer. There are actually USB adapters you can get to allow you to use 360/PS3/4 controllers. But at the cost, you should probably have multiple systems that you want to convert to/from. I have no idea about the wireless controllers though. There has been a fair amount of outrage over this. IIRC, backwards compatibility is a thing that comes up every once in a while but gets turned back off due to issues. I've never owned an XBOX, so maybe someone has some firsthand experience.

XboxOne is getting the backward system where you can play 360 games and earn achievements along the way. For the Games most players are on a game that's free on Live store - World of Tanks.

There are 2 different XboxOne Consols one as s Standard which come with a headset and a 3 mouth gold Live. The other is the Command Control with a camera and voice command functions with a game involved.

I would like to play with you on Live... :3
