So did a tricksy thing and tagged me on dA, but I figure I'd post this to my other galleries as well. Sorry for taking a bit for this, I've been busy and haven't been able to hop on my galleries as much lately. Why anyone would want to know more about me though I haven't the faintest clue, but here goes!

Facts:

1- Despite the aloof, temperamental, sarcastic and formal demeanor I'm actually a very empathetic, warm, goofy and genuine person. Just only a tiny handful of people have proven to be deserving of that side of me.
2- I can remember seemingly inconsequential actions, moments and events. You'd be surprised the things I still recall years later that leave a lasting impression (both good and bad).
3- I'm very spiritual and philosophical, but I generally keep that side under wraps since I know many people either don't have the attention span for such, or just don't care.
4- I can make a mean cocktail. Give me multiple ingredients and I'll go full-bore mad alchemist and make you a surprisingly delicious drink. Similarly, I love talking about booze and the chemistry and history behind it.
5- I'm a transhumanist that is also a Druid that also loves studying Asatru.
6- I love science, especially natural sciences, history and engineering. Only reason I didn't choose to go into a STEM field was because I was worried I wouldn't have the time to do art every day.
7- I'm kinkier than you would expect, but you will never know it because I also have an extremely good sense of propriety and personal space.
8- A pipe dream of mine is to one day either join the SCA or participate in Scottish heavy athletics.
9- I can be a sentimental, sensitive person that gets choked up easily by small (and big) gestures acquaintances and friends do for me. Seriously, I appreciate all of it immensely.
10- I have fairly pronounced trypophobia (look it up yourselves because I refuse to).

Questions:

1- How old are you?
Old enough that "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses was at the top of the popular music charts the day I was born. Aw yeah!

2- What field are you studying/did you study in?
Fine arts, initially. Outside of an Associates though I have no formal training in art. Working towards a tattoo apprenticeship though.

3- When did you start drawing?
Ever since I had the cognitive capabilities to control motor function to move a drawing tool around a surface.

4- Favorite anime?
I suppose this kind of a question is one you'd expect from the Internet. To clarify: outside of a few botched attempts by my ex to get me into some shows, I only have watched three animes extensively enough to say I have favorites. They are tied between: The Big O! and Lupin III.

5- Do you like snakes?
Of course I do! Perfect, beautiful noodles. My love of snakes and herps started early thanks to Steve Irwin.

6- Biggest fear?
Hard to say, but biggest? My own mortality.

7- Favorite movie?
But that is so damn hard to choose! Pan's Labyrinth, 13 Ghosts, Megamind, Alien, Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, Pitch Black....too many.

8- Do you have pets?
I used to. Had a kitty who lived to the ripe old age of 21 that passed a few years ago, and a doggy that passed back in '07. I wish I had pets again but I have no extra income to be able to take care of any.

9- Eye color?
A very blue-blue.

10- Do you prefer digital or traditional art?
Considering I've only ever used the former a small handful of times and it was spent entirely on me trying to get used to the hand-surface-eye disconnect, I cannot answer this question properly. Obviously I will say traditional in the sense that it is the only media I actually use.
