Between an elite Smoke Knight who literally swapped out a hostage for a dummy on someone dosed up with enough stimulants to let them see -time itself-, a warrior princess who has only ever been seriously wounded by said doped-up crack fiend, and a fucking spy of the British secret service, and a centuries-old Jager who's seen combat beyond measure, somehow NO ONE is capable of wrapping their minds around the concept of 'There's a second guy waiting while the first guy plays the distraction'?

This is getting fucking stupid. Not only that, she's been training in combat under Zeetha since the beginning of the series, and yet doesn't know enough to apparently stop herself from getting tied up by one guy. No knives, no belt buckles, not even a little wrench in the pocket to bust his temple open with.
