Hey all! So, as some of you may or may not know, I’m finally done my batch of commissions from May! Sorry it has taken so long. The rest of the pieces will be posted eventually, I just take a while.

So! That means I’m opening up for commissions again! Just so everyone has enough time to prepare, I’ll be opening them up on Saturday, 8/8 at 9PM EST. I'll be taking 5 of each kind of commission. I’m sorry ahead of time to those who won’t be able to catch it - I’m trying to vary up the times I open up so everyone gets a chance at some point! If this time doesn’t work, grab a friend to snag a slot for you - so long as they’re not getting a slot themselves. Make sure they have all the proper information; I won’t accept incomplete forms! Sorry to those who miss out, I can only take on so many.

Like last time I’m gonna be taking requests via Google Form! Which can be scurry to those who’ve not used it. SO to fix that I’ve written a guide to my Commission Form! Its very simple, and is mostly there so you know what information you’ll need to fill out the form. Previous queues have filled up in as little as an hour or two upon opening, and after that the form closes and people can’t see it anymore, so I want to make sure everyone can be prepared, and not just the folks who’ve commissioned me prior! UNLIKE BEFORE, this time Slavestreams won’t be available immediately. Instead I’ll be opening up for those when I finish up the thumbnailing process for the queue I’m taking on. Reason being is that switching from streaming to thumbnailing last time was a really jarring mental switch for me and ended up making the previous thumbnailing process take far, far longer than it should have. Doing it this way allows me to focus on just streaming after that; after I finish thumbnailing its more or less just marathoning my work, streaming it nightly! (Currently I lack a laptop capable of streaming photoshop, so I can’t stream my paintings yet) So, when I am ready to take on slavestreams I’ll post about it, giving a day or so between posting and the queue opening date to give people enough time to get ready.

Speaking of which, new change for slavestreams: there’s no longer a max of 8 hours you can reserve! This update is twofold: you can buy as many hours as you want, and you can split up slavestreams across multiple days. Last time there was difficulty finding time for people who wanted a lot of work but had tricky schedules. This way its easier for everyone to fit things in. I’ll try to make a Google Doc with available times so people can see what times I’m streaming and when they can fit themselves in. There will be a 2 hour minimum for each session, and since there’s no cap on how many hours you can get, I’m limiting the max each session to a more reasonable 6 hours.

Now, I get a couple newbie commissioners every now and then who are scared about commissioning cause they don’t know the proper procedure. That’s okay! Nommz is here to help. I am currently in the process of writing a general commission guide for commissioners. I’ll make another post when I’ve completed it; hopefully before I open up. I’ll give some do’s and don’t’s and things to keep in mind! It’ll hopefully help people make better commission requests and have better habits when doing so! If there’s enough want for one I can write another guide about the flipside for artists, but that wouldn’t be till later.
