Wallpart.com is taking artwork and you might be a victim. I was. by Swaggaraptor

I found a post on tumblr talking about http://wallpart.com/ and when i searched my Weasyl username, it popped up with a fan art of Step I drew and my ref sheet for Cirby. I am making this journal for a few reasons:

  1. I am the original creator and uploader of the two pieces of art that wallpart.com is selling prints of. This journal is proof linking my profile to the Violation Report I am sending tonight.
  2. You all should search your names as well. I'm not well known at all. I know that and yet my art was stolen by http://wallpart.com/ for profit.

Find your artwork under any of your usernames and click "Report Violation" on the pages. It's at the bottom in only text. It's kind of unnoticeable.

I'm trying to take a look at it, but for some reason wallpart isn't pulling up ANY images for me ._.

It's got to be some sort of error though, since it pulls up a "no results" search page even when I click pictures along the bottom of their main page >_>

Yeah, the website will sometimes not have anything from you and when it does the website errors out. I looked up my real name and found a picture of me and a picture of my dad from his work website. Both of those worked while my weasyl ones did not. I'll be making a secondary journal with further information!

What I meant to say was that it's not pulling up anything regardless of what I search. I've tried things like Obama, Cat, Flowers...

It seems to be working better today, so I think I was just having a lag issue or something.

Based on their "about us" page and such, it looks like yet another site that tries to push responsibility for violations off onto their users by claiming to not upload anything themselves and so on. It's a pretty skeevy way of going about things, especially how they're doing it here, but I don't know how much can be done about it beyond reporting every individual image of yours x_x
