That's An Improvement... by Threetails

I spent some time to meditate. About 17 minutes actually, using a pre-recorded session found on YouTube and well... I feel much better. I barely got past the "relax your whole body" part but that seems to have at least helped my moods if not my motivation.

Still, ad hoc relief is ad hoc. I wish I could strike at the root of the problem and be happy again.

That's An Improvement...

      It's troubling to think that just being unaware of my body for 17 minutes is enough to settle my nerves that much. I think it only proves that my body dysphoria is worse than I had thought.

        I don't think you're alone in that. Tao, Zen, Esthetic Stoicism, the suppression of ego is part of each.
