AnthrOhio by arphalia

Not to be confused by all the AnthroCon journals! Not going to AC. :c

BUT WAIT!

Looks like I'll be making it to AnthrOhio (formerly Morphicon) during the spring in 2016 as one of their guests! :o

Never done the GOH thing before, or made it to this con, so all new territory, which is both exciting and scary, but in a good way. So far I've heard its a smaller, chill con and I'm looking forward to it. I'll have to come up with a panel to run, which, I wouldn't mind some input on. From what I understand, there's going to be a different sort of Q&A panel, so this leaves me open to hone in on a specific subject on my own panel. I'd like to do a little something different than a how-to art panel (cause I feel everyone's process is different its impossible) yet still be art related. I have a number of months to figure this out, but wanna get an early start! :D

Sadly, I can't make it there, but congratulations on being GOH!

It is a nice, small, relaxed con. A GoH one year did a panel on drawing hybrids that was received pretty well. Skulldog did one this year on character design that I think attendees found helpful. Whether you want to help other artists or use skills you've honed as an artist to help the Everyfur, you'll come up with something. Personally, I think with your very distinctive style, a 'finding your style' panel would be a natural choice. You could discuss the path you took to arrive where you are now, show old and new pieces, talk about trends you've noticed emerging in your work and how influences affect it then and now. Good luck! I'll probably see you there.
