Do any of you who love fantasy but are however more or less at odds with the relative themes of very olden times ever experience severe art or writer's block, or music block, because you dislike several things that such art can propagate?

I find that this is the prime reason for my months-long art block. Either I'm out of touch, or it's that I feel bad about what I would write out.

Of course fiction is fiction, but do any of you experience this?

Also, do any of you feel that the value of artistry has dampened in recent times?
