Just cleared out my other account by MordrudesMonsters
It's a bittersweet feeling deleting years of photos because of a moneygrab. Oh well, the deed is done. All I left were some samples and the tutorials, and all the sample photos' descriptions are my 'why I'm not here and where to find me' journal. I'm currently thinking of how I can promote people coming here with my work in a tangible sense (like with some tail commission slots or something) but my time is so limited I'm not finding much I feel capable of fulfulling in a reasonable time.

That's a great tip! I've actually been here since the closed beta, I just haven't kept up with anywhere but FA recently because of how busy I've been. On the bright side, cutting that bad habit frees up that time for here!

IMO: post more WIPs on Twitter, link to Weasyl submission page with final images.
Raffles also aren't against the TOS here, iirc. A raffle or other kind of contest may help! Good luck!! <3

Just to clarify, per sections II.H.2 and II.H.3 of the Community Guidelines:
Raffles are permissible under the following circumstances:
- No conditions that would make them considered to be gambling, such as monetary buy-ins.
- The journal in question must be tagged appropriately ("raffle", etc.).

If you post your submissions but they're greyed out and covered with a "image available on Weasyl!" I've found that works excellently for many artists. People are tempted by the promise of your work, and so they come over here to view :)
At any rate, welcome to Weasyl! It's a shame FA has become such a complete shitshow, but we're very happy to have you here!
