The Charleston Church shooting by GuzzleMuzzle

When I think of what people like Roof mean for everyday wandering children...

...I just want to bottle up about all of the things that upset me about Christians and Christianity, regardless of my opinions.

It didn't help that this past Sunday was the anniversary of the worst decision I have ever made in my life. And then this. It resonates with me so deeply because at one point, my mind was on a similar track...

There's a couple of friends of mine who I've chatted with before about the things I don't like about ATHEISTS. I may be all for equality where simple things like entertainment are concerned, but I'm not going to ignore that the majority of the time, the people who voice their "complaints" that are sometimes in the same vein as mine are much more than spoiled brats of the current age, some of whom are headlong in a hopelessly prominent sense of unwarrented self-importance and entitlement. I may also not want to ignore the little known conflicts that young people go through concerning particularly religious parents, but this is often the case so much that it's not even funny.

We're living in an opportunist, materialistic age. People like Roof are all over the internet - the kinds of unsavory folks who employ hiveminded thinking and vehemently defend their right to screw off. I may not ever come to terms with the issues of Christians and Christianity in essentially "coming over to their side" in all hatred of the notion of grown adults stagnating in immaturity, but I will never be blind to the exact same coming from those who promote so much "free thought" that children everywhere turn out to be much like many of the monstrosities that infest the internet.

If you want to be a dork and call hypocrisy on me for nothing else than that I like monsters - of fiction - then you're not even trying to make sense...
