Something i thought i'd do to start a peaceful and thoughtful discussion..

So, as MLP:FIM fans would be aware, Twilight Sparkle has become a Princess.

I've read a journal somewhere about this being A good metaphor for 'growing up', as well as being character development.

This got me thinking..

If we were to take the metaphoric values of the show (teaching little lessons, etc), considering twilight has 'grown up' by becoming a princess, what would be the next step for this metaphor?

My thoughts~

First off, twilight would have to get used to her new self, such as learning to fly (she probably can alright right now, but still. XD)

learning more about how her status effects her in other respects...

My more scynical side would be the idea of the mane six getting into the guys a bit more.. if at all. XD

My reasoning for this would be that on any other TV show these days the main character either has a love interest (a crush or something) or a Girlfriend/boyfriend, in this case the metaphor would be that growing up also includes changes in how you peceive others around you (i.e, opposite gender).

But then, its a 'kids' show, would that happen?

You never know. X3
