Just got a call from the vet regarding our older cat.
This news is bad. Really bad.
They found signs of cancer in her intestinal tract as well as in her lymph nodes.
They're going to resect her bowel, and they did get the masses out.
They also asked us about euthanizing her. Since the vet tech said she likely was not experiencing any pain from the cancer, we said no (I told my mom after she hung up the phone and was asked about that option that, "If she's not in pain, I'd rather have her pass here at home with people that love her.")
If the cancer does come back, her prognosis is six months to a year. Right now, we're hoping for no relapse.
Fock...sighs again
UPDATE @ 737 pm EST
She is now at a 24/7 emergency care center for overnight observation. Her blood levels were low, and she got more painkillers (morphine variant).
We're officially at "wait and see" stage now. -.-
