It's late, so please excuse the brevity of this journal. I just thought that I should post a few updates about what's going on with me and why I've been so inactive lately.

This past week I have been visiting family out in Arizona. The trip itself was great and it was good to see my grandparents again. As a note, due to distance I only get to see them once about every five or six years. We do call each other, but there's no substitute for seeing someone face to face. Anyways, If it seems like I disappeared last week, it's because the family stuff took a definite priority. The timezone change didn't help things either though. Arizona's about three hours behind Michigan once you factor for the timezones. So, most of the livestreams and chats that you would usually expect me to haunt were over by eight or nine pm Arizona time.

Aside from the trip out west, I'd like to talk about the "How To Furry Version 2.0" project for a moment. It has become apparent that I do not have sufficient free time in order to properly work on this project. I know that, in previous journals, I had mentioned a desire to collaborate on this project. If there are people reading this that really have a desire to see that project move forward, please let me know. I would have few, if any, problems putting the relevant materials up on a google doc and allowing people to work on it. To be honest, I'm not sure how popular that project was/is/might be so I'm curious what people think. If nobody approaches me and says that they really want to collaborate on that project, then I'll just shelve it for a while. I'm not entirely sure when I would have the time to properly work on it.

Let's see, what else to talk about. The lack of art uploads is probably worth mentioning. I had been planning to get some commissions these past few weeks. When I started taking a more in-depth look at the trip out west, it became apparent that the "furry art fund" would suffer a bit for the sake of a nice visit with the grandparents. (Two round trip tickets, a week's worth of expenses, and a car payment have a habit of doing that.) In any case, when I get paid again there will probably be more art. As a note, I feel it's worth mentioning that I'm not saying that I'm in any financial trouble. It's just that I know I've hit my limit for luxury spending and should postpone any additional unnecessary spending for the sake of my wallet's health.

So, that about sums up what has been happening with me. I'll see you all around.
