...is probably the WORST hub of art theft I've ever seen on the net... Yes the WHOLE internet is guilty of this, but instagram is a whole new level of bullshit when it comes to this. Not only is the theft horrible, but when you confront these idiots who re-post without crediting, they get all defensive and butt hurt and attack you when you try to just educate them, and ask them to credit the work YOU worked so hard on... Some dork today even tried to turn around and accuse ME of "doing the same". He seriously tried to accuse ME of doing the same shit. That I re-post stolen art work without credit LMAO. It's so laughable. My instagram is filled with only MY art that I so graciously spent hard work and time on and put effort into. Not stolen, uncredited work from other hard working artists... I am honestly more pissed that the kid got all defensive and butt hurt, and tried to shift the blame on to ME, more than the fact that he stole some of my art... (WHICH HE HAS YET TO CREDIT)

This is how art thieves act... You try to call them out, or even confront them politely and try to educate them on why the crap they're doing is harmful and wrong, (Y'know... STEALING???) but then they have a piss baby fit when you do so... LOL, VICTIM COMPLEX MUCH???

DEAR ART THIEVES. YOU THINK YOUR FEELINGS ARE HURT? YOU THINK YOU'RE THE VICTIM? Yeah, try being the artist you STOLE from...
Because I can assure you, as someone who's been stolen from, seeing your work being stolen is one of the most gut wrenching, god awful feelings EVER. (For me personally. I know some artists don't give two shits.)

Next time an artist confronts you, or asks you to credit them, or take their image down, you best just suck up your stupid pride and APOLOGIZE and do as they ask.

Seriously that site is bullshit... well not the site, as I still use it as an art platform for MY stuff, but the dumb kids who re-post work need to learn about credit and the fact that art theft IS still theft, and therefore illegal and can land them in court if an artist is pissed enough to take legal action. Can't blame an artist for wanting to protect their work and livelyhood after all!

Sorry yea... I'm just EXTREMELY pissed today I guess GODFUCKINGDAMMIT... XD

    Yeah, unfortunately a lot of kids think anything they can google is automatically okay to use as if it is theirs.
    That was the actual excuse they gave me.
    "I found it on google. If you don't want people to use it tell google to take it down."

    Granted, this wasn't art I did, but art I commissioned. Still is bad though

      I get so sick of their excuses. XC

      Oh yes, I've been a commissioner too, and when you see one of your commissions being used, it's also a horrible, horrible feeling. Both for the artist you paid, and for yourself since it's something you bought and (more than likely) your character.
      So sad. :C

          OH MY GOSH YES. See, this person also stole a few romantic pictures I did of my mate and I, and that really set me off as those are deeply personal to me. -_- And also using them for RP is even more of a kick in the gut.
