jim and i got our marriage license today and on thursday we're gonna tie the knot. not gonna have a big ceremony or do anything fancy, but gonna have cake and punch.
my sisters and mom are going crazy trying to plan a big celebration in a day. oops. i keep telling them it's not gonna be like that and we're just going to say our 'i do's' and be done with it, but they insist. if we'd had it my way we would've just quietly gotten married at the courthouse and gone home. they didn't like that aaha.

Ha ha, I feel you on that. My mate and I similarly just wanted a small get together of close family, but they kept insisting it needs to be bigger than that. Congrats on getting married, and I hope your special day is to your liking, not the liking of others!
