Commission Interest? by SINA
Just an interest check. I am at a point I wouldn't mind taking on some commissions. If I were to open to take orders would anyone be interested?

No I use to do a lot of commission until I took a period of time to sort out my life. I focused on my transition and haven't really taken any larger project for the past year. My watchers over FA, Weasyl, and Tumblr have become VERY silent. but that's what I get for walking away for so long.
But I do agree I will need to make new ads for my slots since I've been out of the game for so long.

When I first started taking commissions I found it was really difficult to actually gauge interest by asking. My suggestion would be to come up with some prices that you feel are fair compensation for your work, create one or two advertising posts and publicly open up for commissions a few times over the course of the year and see how things go. Usually by the forth or fifth opening you'll have a decent idea of how it'll work out and what kinds of prices people are willing to pay without underselling yourself.
Once you establish yourself a little bit it becomes much easier to both draw interest and figure out how you wanna run things.
