yeah, I saw the preview commercials and saw they were doing a spoof of some 8-bit games, which I really like...so I decided to give the show the benefit of the doubt and watch it. The result was...actually not bad, I really liked the art style and animation, plus the jokes were legitimately funny. Of course the show still sucks and even this enjoyable episode doesn't do anything to redeem it, and here are 3 simple reasons why:

1- Massive Filler: The first sketch, Starfire in Legend of Zelda, took up nearly half of the episode by itself, they obviously wrote about 5 minutes of material and had to stretch it into the 11 minute run time.
2- Nothing to do with Teen Titans: I know the creators of this show are the same team that did MAD, which was a funny sketch comedy show, and this episode felt exactly like that, but frankly the fact that it starred the Teen Titans had ZERO to do with anything. This episode could just as easily have been made for Uncle Grandpa, Clarence, Adventure Time, Regular Show, or Steven Universe. It's a stock plot that you could put ANY character names into and lose (or gain) NOTHING.
3- Why was this even on TV? I have seen stuff EXACTLY like this on NEWGROUNDS, in fact I've seen even better sketches done using nothing more than animated sprites and Smash Bros as connective tissue done by relative amateurs. I guess it could be worse though.
