Artist Group Account by Todex
RIGHT! I probably should have made a journal about this here as well, since it concerns artists on both FA, as well as Weasyl!
So here goes:
I've made an account that can help to bridge the gap between FA and Weasyl - where artists can list themselves with their usernames on both sites.
This helps other users/artists to see who is hiding where (in case of name changes) and just in general get an impression of how many people are migrating/mirroring things here.

I've also made a text-macro comparison between FA and Weasyl, which is also linked from that account. Might be helpful to format your stuff in similar ways.
I have gotten used to the differences between BBCode and Weasyl's Markdown+HTML formatting, and while it seems uncomfortable and strange at first, it DOES save time in the long run since many things can be done quicker that way.

This is great! Are you familiar with the site for helping people find users from FA on Weasyl as well?
Originally nicknamed the "FenderBender", they changed it to S.O.F.T. after Dragoneer voiced his opinion on the word play.

Interesting! So someone had a similar idea!
Just that project doesn't account for when the usernames were changed, right? About a third of all artists picks new names on Weasyl :O-
it actually has the option that if the artist changed their name when moving to weasyl, you can put that in and others that look up the artist will see that it changed. =)

Wait and you say 'Neer made drama just because they used the name 'Fender' in the title?! AFAIK that is not trademarked D8<

The site popped up while FA was down for a bit, and a lot of people were talking about Weasyl, so 'Neer took the name 'Fender Bender' personal rather than just blowing it off for the play on words that it was. haha
