Possible improvement? by kino jaggernov

Brim is starting to come around on the new anti-anxiety meds. My overwhelming pessimism is being slowly replaced by cautious optimism. Maybe. We'll see. The REALLY unfortunate thing is that right as I made the commitment to try and work on the comic... Brim falls completely apart for about a week... so, I really didn't get 2 weeks. I got 1. I started my comic focus on a Wednesday, finished page 7 on a Saturday, got page 8 pencilled on the following Monday, and then Tuesday, everything blew up until like, yesterday. So.... that's a total of 1 week I'll have actually worked out of the 2 weeks I was hoping to. If I can get the next page done before midnight on the 11th, I'll have successfully finished nearly 2 pages despite everything being stacked against me. And I mean EVERYTHING.
I will continue working on whatever I can until the weekend, if (and that's a BIG if) Brim continues to do well. We've had promising starts on other medications that have quickly fallen flat in the past, so I'm VERY cautiously optimistic about our chances. After the weekend, I'll start on my new schedule, commissions 3 days a week, personal projects 4 days a week. Not like I have that many commissions stacked up anyway. Shouldn't take me long to clean off my plate.
From here on in, also, there will be no more sales. Even working ridiculously cheap, I can barely drum up 10 commissions... so working even cheaper isn't scaring any more commissions out of the brush, and it's not worth it.
I've got to focus on my Patreon project after I get through with my commissions. It's the only thing that's even got a chance of paying me a wage we can even survive on. Across my 4500 watchers, if even 1/4 of my followers help me out with $1 a month, (or $12 a YEAR) Brim and I can make ends meet (barely). We can eat, at least. I'd like to think I'm worth that.
We'll see where we stand by the weekend. All I can do is hope.

Brim is very lucky to have someone so understanding to be with them.

I wish you all the luck!
