TFF was a great success! Last year, I went only knowing one person and had to drive home every night. This year, I had a whole posse and a room to stay in, and that made it so much more awesome. Went to an interesting panel hosted by Rukis, completely missed all the other ones I was interested in (I blame jello shots), drew a lot of stuff, met a lot of cool people, drew a lot of stuff WITH cool people I'd just met (hey hey pinardilla)... All in all, a fantastic time and I'm kinda sad it's over.

I also bought a Dream Vision Creations resin blank! I've had my eye on them for a while, but I didn't know how good the vision was. They had a pre-cut, hinged, padded one there and they let me try it on, and I was surprised how much I could see out of it. Still, I was gonna hold off and buy it online later, but then they went and had a 10% off sale on the last day. Wellp.

Hopefully I'll be joining the fuzzy, sweaty fursuiting masses soon, though. I look forward to dancing around and making an ass of myself. (Maybe I can have a partial done by BLFC? We'll see.)

Also obtained all three hardbound Blacksad books. How long have those been out in English?! Last time I looked, you could only find translated bootleg scans. It makes me very happy.

The art jam also made me realize how much I miss traditional media. I fetched my watercolors and colored pencils from my parents' house, as well as my ancient scanner, so I'm gonna be doing some more traditional pieces now. Eee.

So, yes! In summary, good fun, would recommend, going back next year, BLFC probably can't come soon enough.
