So… I’ve decided to transition from female to male. This isn’t something I’ve decided to do on a whim. I’ve struggled, really, my entire life with being a girl. It was never something I’ve felt wholly comfortable with being. So I’ve decided to fix it. Shout out to my friend Zakeya for giving me my new name, Heath. I guess calling you ‘Zak’ was a good thing :P

I’ve told people who I used to work with (most of them in their 40s or older and Christian women at that) and surprisingly they’ve all been supportive. And of course my closer friends and those idiots love me regardless. So now I’m telling you guys.

I’ve been at peace since I started coming out about this. Not Cloud 9 peace but… lighter. I expect that bubble to pop eventually but until then….

So, the name’s Heath. If ya’ll wanna continue to call me Jandan, feel free. :)
