I just got the go ahead to record vocals at home! This means no more waiting for someone to help me out with recording space!
This also means that my third album will FINALLY GET FUCKING FINISHED.
FOUR FUCKING YEARS.
FOUR GOD DAMNED FUCKING SHIT COCKING YEARS I'VE BEEN WAITING TO FINISH THIS FUCKING ALBUM.
ALSO NEW MUSIC.
NEW COVERS.
THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ONLY AS ENDLESS AS MY NEIGHBOURS' PATIENCE ALLOWS
ALL ABOARD THE EXCITEBIKE
Unfortunately, my boyfriend didn't get any sleep last night, so I can't do any vocal recordings today, much as I want to. >.<
I guess I'll just tweak audio stuff until I can. I have a decent mic, but it's USB, so I don't get any natural bounceback from it, so I need to see if there's some special software I can get for that.
SO MUCH YES.
I'm actually going to have to use a really rigged together setup. The only proper mic I have is a USB mic, which means no real time input monitoring, since the computer has to convert the signal from audio to digital back to audio, so what I'm going to do is just use my normal headset mic for input monitoring and hope I don't bump the USB mic while I'm singing and get noise I'm not aware of until I listen to the playback. XD
