For peace, love, and joy, for everyone by GuzzleMuzzle

So much intolerance here in my family with my parents and sister. My sister is nicer, but she's as opposed to gays and transgender folks as they are. I wish they could see that they are people too - that they are deserving of warmth and love, like any living creature.

I hope that in the future, here in the United States, there will be an era of peace ushered in for all people. Straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender - everyone. I hope we'll be able to see gay couples walk down the streets without fear of reproach; that they and transgender people will become as natural a sight as anyone.

If you guys have some info on gay and transgender rights, please share it with me here. I feel so backwater up here in Ohio, around so many bigots and intolerant people. If the rights of gays and transgender people are winning, tell me where, or how, please.

I want to know that global, equal love is winning.....

For peace, love, and joy, for everyone

Given time I'm sure that such hate will become less socially acceptable as has been the case with other issues of rights. Until then this country's motto of equality and freedom is BS. Anyway Ive heard on the news that more States are legalizing gay marriage, can't say off hand which ones or how long ago though.
