Again, SPOILERS ahead about Bravely Default and it's plot over the course of the game, so please don't read if you wish to avoid. With that said, my next few Fox n' Friends will be about certain plot points in the game, so viewer beware, you're in for a sc...wait. That's not right...

Anyway. Here is my long rant about the game thus far:

The world is dying. The four main heroes have to awaken the four crystals. Agnes is a protector of those crystals and believes in her religion.
I've covered most of the basics in this story. Agnes, however, is the dumbest person I've ever met, and deserves a slow death.

At the beginning, she prays for a savior to come and help her protect the world. Tiz shows up and says, "Hey. I wanna help you protect the world." She says, "Leave me alone. This is none of your business." And she tries to ditch him.

You go through the game, fix the four crystals, enter a pillar of light, and travel to an alternate world that's almost exactly the same. The four crystals have yet to be awakened in the New World. Agnes says, "What if...what if the world was created 5 minutes ago? What if all of us were only created 5 minutes ago? But...but our memories...we were given memories of a time longer than that?" I wanted to grab her neck then and say, "Parallel Universes or dimesions! Time travel! Alternate realities! Anything makes more sense than the crap that just came spewing out of your mouth!"

This point of the game is a chore. They constantly send you to new worlds, and you have to re-awaken the crystals in each...one. But you have an airship now, so it's much much faster. Anyway. You find out that her religion was actually just something people used to get power. And a new point of view sprang up that opposed that. Despite learning ALL OF THIS, Agnes refuses to believe her religion is wrong, and keeps trying to awaken the crystals. (I can't completely blame her here. Her religion wasn't inherently bad, and rather, bad people just rose to power within it. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE)!

AT ONE POINT. Someone tells you, "Hey. That fairy that's guiding you and telling you to do all this? She's actually evil. And she's deceiving you. You appeared 1800 years ago to me and told me so yourself. (Yes, I know this is odd, but it makes sense in context of the game).
And Agnes and Tiz both say, "So, we know she's the deceiver. What do we do?" AND THEY STILL AWAKEN THE CRYSTALS! EVERY FLIPPING TIME!

You awaken 8 more, and then the fairy reveals that she is evil. And Agnes says, "What? No! How can this be! You deceived us!"
You beat the fairy and Agnes mopes around going, "it's all my fault." And Tiz tries to comfort her.
NO!
NO!
You don't get to feel sorry for yourself! It IS all of your fault! And you don't get to be comforted!

You repeatedly ignored advice given to you over the course of FIVE FREAKING WORLDS! AND YOU WERE FLAT OUT TOLD THAT AIRY WAS A DEMON! You don't get to act shocked and be surprised! You stupid little.....ARUGJHKLASHDGH!

I felt like I was going freaking insane just like the definition that Vaas gives you in Far Cry 3. Doing something over and over and over again expecting different results? No sane or rational person would have awakened those crystals 5 flippin' times in a row without fail. Maybe I'm insane. 'Cause I keep playing this stupid game. But I've invested a lot of time and want to see the end!

I had to put it down again today because Agnes is like, "After this is over, I'm gonna go back to leading the faithful of crystalism." HAVE YOU NOT GROWN AT ALL, AGNES?! DO YOU NOT HAVE A FREAKING BRAIN?! Have you not seen everything that has happened? You're just gonna go back and pretend like nothing has happened and everything can be the same again?! You need to stand for a change!

Ogh.

This is giving me good comic material, but my gosh. It is making me so mad. I have never had a character infuriate me this much before.
