Okay I'm sure you're all tired of hearing about it but I at least wanted to extend my thanks and gratitude for all of the well-wishing; you people are just too sweet, honestly.

The operation was a success and even took a bit less than the projected time for it, so I thank science for that (and an awesome doctor). Having stitches in my leg is irksome but I can deal with it just fine. No exercise for two weeks while they're in though, so I can't take my walks. Geh, I think that's the part I hate the most.

Anyway, now that I've taken it easy and kept myself away from everything for the first couple days my normal schedule may resume! I'll have plenty of time for catch-up, correspondence and working on trades now, so you should be seeing plenty of me. It's done and over with, so I can finally truly enjoy the start of 2015.
