So, yesterday I found out that my ex wife is now engaged to the guy she hooked up with just nine days after we moved apart. I can understand rebounds, but MARRYING your rebound? lol. What a stupid bitch.

This really highlights one of the reasons I left her. She's not the brightest bulb in the box, and she's completely dependent on others. She was part of the reason our relationship stagnated. She wouldn't contribute to it. She was just... there. She could never do anything on her own, always needed to be told what to do, and half the time she couldn't do anything right.

Whoever I end up with, it's going to be a girl that has brains and independence. I need a girl that knows how to live on her own, so we both build from each other and live successful lives. Unlike her, I haven't just jumped into a relationship. I'm actually being smart and working on setting up my own life first.

If it wasn't for my sense of duty and responsibility, I could have left her sooner instead of wasting years of my life on that dumbass. I stayed with her because I made a commitment to her, but I should have just called things off the day she went and joined the Navy, because that was the beginning of the end.
