Furry Artist Problems:

Getting a new tattoo and needing to figure out how to put it on your fursona when the tattoo is black and so is the area of your fursona where the tattoo should go.

I got the (okay, not THE, since there doesn't seem to be one, but MY version of the) agender symbol tattooed on the back of my wrist and I plan to transfer any and all tattoos I get onto Raptor for obvious reasons, but I just realized that on Raptor many of those tattoos may need to be slightly altered color-wise to work with their scheme. For example, the agender tattoo is black. So is the back of Raptor's wrist. So it either needs to be darker than the shade used on their wrist, or I could make it white (or off-white/silver?) on them instead, which might be neat.

I'll fiddle with it during this week and see which I prefer.

Life Update:

I've finally defragged from the first week of winter break, which SHOULD have been a time for relaxing in the first place but... really wasn't. The gist of it is that you shouldn't put my family together under the same roof for more than maybe six hours without anticipating some sort of fight. It got really really bad, and I had a meltdown.

2015 is in a few hours. I want to have high hopes for it but let's face it. I said 2014 would be great and it has been complete shit except for a couple small things. I said 2013 would be better than 2012 was and it wasn't. I'm not going to get my hopes up for this next year. Things are still bad with school and I might not be able to graduate. My stress is low right now but the moment I go back to school Monday it'll be through the roof again and I don't know how long I can go before I have a meltdown related to school. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet but third and fourth quarter are always Breakdown Season for me so... we'll see.

Unrelated, I have a tumblr for art stuff set up. It'll update about as often as I do here on Weasyl, but it will include sketches and stuff that I don't post here for one reason or another (such as face/anatomy practice or thinking it's not worth putting here).

Right now the only thing on it is that Flygon sketch I did last month, but if I unlazify myself (that is totally a word shut up) I'll be putting up my recent sketches and practice things. Lots of Raptor head shapes and Reaper head shapes and playing with ear size and position because I can never quite get their ears to look right when they're laid back in sadness, anger, etc. Not that Reaper's ears ever shift; only Raptor's do but still.

Whether or not it becomes more active, it's crossedunversed.
