Wessy arrived today about 3:15 PM today. He's spending about a week here, which means being here through New Year's. We went to Subway's for lunch today, then went over to Wal-mart, where I decided to upgrade my phone from the flip phone I have to a smart phone.

Since I'm on a prepaid account, that was easy enough to do, and the phone only cost me $30. I primarily did it because I wanted to actually be able to see pictures that I get from people texting. Despite having told people over and over I can't view pictures on a tiny flip phone screen, it keeps happening anyway. Another benefit to having done it, came in the form of being forced to change my cell phones billing renewal to go with the new phone.

I was originally on a $50 plan for unlimited talk, text and web (though, from the flip phone I literally NEVER used the web. The screen was far too tiny). The new phone though caused I change in my plan. Now I'm on a $45 plan for unlimited talk and text, with a limited amount of web usage (can't remember how much it was offhand) but, again, I don't use the net from my phone anyway. If I'm ever away from home, I use the net from my 2DS, and that's free (pending an open wi-fi networkk, that is).While we were at Wal-Mart, Wessy also did a little food shopping.

Then we got back to the apartment, and I watched Dipper gaming for a bit while Wessy took a nap. After that was done, we had dinner and watched Netflix for a few hours.

I have to say that I've really missed having him here, and I'm glad I get to keep him here for a little while. We've needed the time together and I think it'll do us both some good.

Some time while he's here, Wessy and I are planning a trip to visit Dipper, though we're not sure quite when we're gonna do that. I admit I'm looking forward to that too, because I haven't seen Dipper in a few months.

So yeah.... Wessy's here, and I'm happy.
