doc was a good-hearted and supportive person I had the honor of calling a friend. He passed away earlier this month from heart failure, and I wanted to extend my condolences to all his friends and family. I had spoken to him only a couple of weeks ago, and he told me he hadn't felt well in a while, but he certainly didn't let on that it was anything serious. Turns out it was; perhaps he didn't even know.

Wherever the cosmos has decided to take you, I hope it is peaceful and comfortable for you, Doc. You were taken from us far, FAR too early. If anyone deserves peace, it's you.
