Onision video about trypophobia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgjv8snBgk0 (didn't actually watch this video as of this post).
Trypophobia is a fear of holes.
Seeing things with far too many little holes in them can make my skin crawl in the extreme. I don't even like looking at beehives.
Now you know my #1 weakness.
At least it makes it easier to shower properly. Seeing such things opens my pores up. Disgusting.
I think I don't exactly have an extreme case of it. I watched that video and looked up pictures related to it last night just to see what would happen, and I seemed to feel indifferent to it.
The funny thing is, I can imagine the worst case scenarios of it well enough on my own, so when I see images themed to it, I may only itch out of consideration rather than sheer impulse. Still very uncomfortable. DX
Happened across this old journal, and know exactly what you mean. I also don't have an extreme case, but have found myself putting this type of subject matter into artwork when I wanted a to convey something subtly disturbing. The wikipedia article seems to be a pretty good summary of my particular feelings here.
