Wow, this is shaping up to be the season of everyone taking my sh**

I've contacted the company to ask them if they are aware that whoever they hired to do the work just traced whatever popped up on a google image search.

So this is going to be fun.
I know that sometimes companies grab the cheapest artist they can find to do stuff like this, so it may be that Venere doesn't even know that these were traced, but I'm sure they'd like to know that if they paid a person to draw them stuff and they sat on their ass and just traced stuff off of Google.
While I'm not expecting anything out of it, I also gave Hasbro a courtesy email to let them know that their character design has been used by another company.

opps sorry q-q, I don't know how to work tumblr to well. I feel bad for the company. A virtual pet site I go to, the artist sold over maybe 100 of little game items and allll of them were traced. The owner didn't know till later when they got into trouble. They are still in the process of replacing all the art.

Well, we don't know for sure if the company is ignorant of what happened. They could very well have known all along that these were traced.

That is very true too sadly. If they are innocent I would hope they get their money back as the virtual pet site owner tried. But also the possibility they won't care. As I've sadly noticed some websites do. If that the case I've seen many go straight to the sever provider and the sever provider goes to them. Set fire under their butts.

That's part of why I sent Hasbro an email, since the character design belongs to them, Venere could be getting a very big fire under their ass. On their blog they claim copyright to the infographic, so they are claiming copyright on a stolen design.
This could get very ugly for them.-
I'll be watching for updates to the mess for sure. o.o It sounds like it can go either way. If one of the original artist's gets mad enough I can see fire works flying.

This is a very old image has been stolen multiple times. The original lives on deviantart but I couldn't tell you specifically or if their still around. I'm kind of a fan of all Fenrir's art.
